California HealthCare Foundation - An independent philanthropy committed to improving the delivery and financing of health care. Publishes timely reports that offer insight and detailed analysis on health insurance and health care.  

National Coalition on Health Care - Founded in 1990 and representing more than 150 million Americans, the National Coalition on Health Care is the nation's largest and most broadly represented alliance working to improve America's health care.     

Kaiser Family Foundation - A leader in health policy and communications that focuses on the major health care issues facing the U.S. Publishes detailed reports and analysis on heath care and insurance.       

Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI) - Contributes to the enhancement and development of sound employee benefit programs and public policy through objective research and education.

Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) – As part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Often BEA promotes a better understanding of the U.S. economy by providing the timely, relevant, and accurate economic accounts data in an objective and cost-effective manner.

U.S. Government Accountability Office – An independent, nonpartisan agency that works for Congress and often called the "congressional watchdog," the GAO investigates how the federal government spends taxpayer dollars and provides Congress with timely information that is objective, fact-based, fair, and balanced.

National Institutes of Health (NIH) – As part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the NIH is the primary Federal agency for conducting and supporting medical research.  It leads the way toward important medical discoveries that improve people’s health and save lives by investigating ways to prevent and treat common and rare diseases.

National Center For Health Statistics – As a branch of the Center for Disease Control & Prevention of the Department of Health & Human Services, this site is a rich source of information about America’s health. As the nation’s principal health statistics agency, they compile statistical information to guide actions and policies to improve the health of Americans.

U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Statistics – Is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics.

U.S. Census Bureau – Is the leading source of quality data about the nation's people and economy.

Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services – As a branch of the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services, this official site provides news, information and guidelines for Medicare, Medicaid and State Children’s Health Insurance Programs.

National Association of Insurance Commissioners – NAIC assists state insurance regulators in protecting the public interest by promoting competitive markets and solvency of insurance institutions, and improving the regulation of insurance.
